PWS is the Pegasi Web Server, written from scratch in Java.

The project started as a project for the course of Networking at the Hogeschool Gent, by members/founders of the PegasiLUG.

Usage

Everything is documented in the distribution archives. Please check there.

Requirements

  • Any 100%-compatible Java Runtime Environment (this excludes the Microsoft VM!).
    A computer with TCP/IP networking installed. (nearly always the case)

The last release is version 0.2.3, and can be downloaded here, from SourceForge.

In my original deployment of Proxmox on my VPS I only enabled IPv4, and I was using socat to forward traffic from the IPv6 address of the host to the internal IPv4 addresses of the containers. Not ideal, since this masks the external IP addresses, and also creates some latency and additional CPU load when processing IPv6.
